This year, the King Baudouin Foundation has launched a call for projects to improve access to quality housing for this vulnerable target group. After all, having a roof over your head is indispensable for the integration of migrants and refugees, but is often still accompanied by several obstacles.
One of these initiatives is De Woongenoten’s project that mobilises financial resources and looks for housing. In collaboration with Wooncoop, a housing cooperative in Ghent, they buy these houses and rent them out to refugees through various organisations.
