PAika
PAika is the Department of Child Psychiatry for children and young adults up to 18 years of the university hospital in Brussels (UZ Brussels). Solentra works closely with and was founded under the umbrella of PAika. Dr A. Lampo is the head of PAika, as well as deputy head of the Board of Directors of Solentra and supervisor of our team.
Gemeenschappelijke Gemeenschapscommissie (Joint Community Commission)
The Gemeenschappelijke Gemeenschapscommissie (Joint Community Commission [GGC]) plays an important role in the field of assisting individuals and health care within the Region of Brussels. The GGC is responsible for the provision of care in- and outside the hospital, health education and preventive medicine.
Fedasil
Fedasil is a public interest organisation. It stands for Federal Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers. They look after the residence of applicants for international protection. They guarantee high-quality residencies and conformity within the various residence structures. Fedasil also coordinates various voluntary return programmes.
Urban Innovative Actions (UIA)
Urban Innovations Actions (UIA) is an initiative from the European Union. It provides resources for urban areas in Europe to test new and unproven solutions to meet urban challenges. The UIA funded the Curant project in Antwerp, which was a project Solentra also worked on.
Making More Health
Making More Health (MMH) is a global initiative that aims to create a healthier world for individuals, animals and their communities. MMH wants to reach this goal by using a social entrepreneurial mindset which will lead them to innovative solutions. It will also help them to create social impact and to find innovative business models.
Ashoka
Ashoka is an organisation which consists solely of social entrepreneurs. Ashoka identifies and supports the world's leading social entrepreneurs, learns from their innovations and creates a global community that embraces these new frameworks. These frameworks will help them to spread the idea that 'everyone can be a change maker' worldwide.
Actiris
Actiris is the central player and supplier of solutions for employment in the Brussels-Capital Region. Actiris concentrates on two tasks. The first one is to ensure a match between employers and job seekers. The second task is organising the shift from unemployment to work. In the past, Actiris has tried to find jobs for refugees through different means. However, they are still looking for the best approach.
AMIF (Fund for Asylum, Migration and Integration)
The Fund for Asylum, Migration and Integration (AMIF) was created by the European Commission, which wants to achieve a more effective flow of migration. The Fund also wants to implement, strengthen and develop a common EU-approach to asylum and immigration. Therefore, AMIF provides financial support for different organisations that work with refugees.

Donorinfo is an independent information centre that gathers information about charities in Belgium. They strive to provide transparency to anyone who wishes to donate to a charity and looks for objective data on how these organisations work.
